Inaugural Bent Horn Games Postponed until 2021

For Immediate Release

March 17, 2020, Kamloops, BC – Due to the current Covid-19 global pandemic, the Bent Horn Games Committee has made the tough decision to postpone the inaugural games until 2021.

The Bent Horn Games were created as a fun, multi-sport tournament that were to take place at the end of April 2020.

“The health and wellness of the participants and our community are of the utmost importance, which is what lead us to this decision,” explains Duncan Olthuis, Executive Director of the Kamloops Sports Council. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Tournament Capital in 2021 to celebrate the amazing sport culture in Kamloops.”

Refunds to event registrants will be sent out immediately. Those who have questions please contact the Kamloops Sports Council Directly.

“We are looking forward to bringing people together in 2021. Pickleball, Ultimate Frisbee, Rugby and Disc Golf will still be on the agenda. We are planning a weekend of fun competition, local brews, DJs, and a bustling Beverage Garden that is home to the Beverage Garden Games,” says Lisa Strachan, Director, Destination Development & Trade Relations, Tourism Kamloops.
